You can’t have Valentine’s Day without celebrating Galentine’s Day on the 13th. This is an unofficial holiday that allows women to celebrate their friends and have fun together regardless of if they are single or not. They even have an after-party event where you can watch stand up comedy specials of women comedians.
“Let’s Talk About Sex” at The Franklin Institute-
This unique after-hours event on the day before Valentine’s Day in the Franklin Institute invites their guests to attend in order to learn more about attraction, love, and long-term relationships; all with a scientific background and explained through the chemistry of the body. This event has a cash bar, demonstrations, and flash talks and performances.
“Awkward Sex … And the City Valentine’s Day Bad Romance Special” at Punch Line Philly
This comedy special hosted on the night before Valentine’s Day features four women and one man comedic that deep-dives into the dating world and how awkward and funny it can be. They will make jokes focusing around dates and bad relationships, while also having exciting giveaways during the show.
Valentine’s Date Night at the Clay Studio-
Running from the 13th to the 16th of February, this limited-time Valentine’s event will allow you and your partner to share a pottery wheel and make your own original ceramic piece together. These date nights also have candlelight sitting including chocolate, wine, and champagne to enjoy.
